This is a page with information regarding the fish that I currently have in my aquariums along with ones that I may like to have as additions in the future.
Freshwater Fish:
Blue Acara

Typical to most Cichlids the Blue Acara is a Hardy and easy to care for fish if their needs are met. They are omnivorous and will accept all types of food and relish anything live. The tank should be large and have plenty of caves and nooks to hide in. driftwood, rockwork and Live plants are also helpful. Provide good filtration and do frequent water changes, as they do not do well if the water conditions deteriorate.

Parrot Fish

The Blood Parrot fish is usually a hardy fish but if bought under the circumstances that the fish has been dyed a different color, you may encounter sickness and even death of the fish. This is due to the added stress that the process of dying the fish has on the fish. To eliminate this, always purchase a none dyed fish because after 4 months or so, the fish will return to its original color. Another thing to know about this fish is that it is relatively difficult or even impossible to breed this fish as it is a genetic hybrid and most males are sterile. The fish may try several times but more times then not, there will never be any hatch-lings. Parrot fish are relatively peaceful but like any fish it can become territorial during breeding.
Silver Dollar

The SIlver Dollar is a beautiful and shiny fish that can grow to a large fish given the required room. They are relatively active and can be very skittish. They like to school together and are peaceful fish.
